Photo of the Month, April 2018

I love photographing buildings at night...or any architecture at night. For some reason, whenever I get paid to do it, it's always the coldest night of the year. Not that I'm complaining.

The picture featured this month is the 8th Street parking lot with a SEPTA bus in the foreground. Two things kind of close to me: When I was stationed at the Philadelphia Shipyard I spent a lot of time going up to Center City on the SEPTA bus. And then when I decided to move down here to Philadelphia, I spent a lot of time looking for great parking spaces.

I guess I've always been attracted to night photography, basically, as people tell me, I'm a night person. I hope to be doing more night shots now that the weather seems to be warming up at last.

If it's possible, I'd like to take this opportunity to have everybody start following me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and my new Houzz page if you're not already.

Thanks a lot! Talk to you all next month.
