Hello, everybody, I am still around and working hard. I have not done one of these in a while, and I thought Valentine’s Day would be a good day to start again.

When I first started this blog I wanted to tell people about what’s happening in the world from my point of view, and explain how I work and how I approach some photography jobs. A lot of people have shared their ideas on how I should do my blog, and I appreciate that.

But this year, I’m going to try to do something that is definitely needed with the state of the world right now: I’m going to try to put a smile on your face.

That’s all, a simple little smile, with my photography or maybe some of my comments here.

Sometimes in photography, you capture something that is just priceless, and this is one of my favorite images. Looking in this boy’s eyes, the way he’s looking a these young ladies, explains everything about human nature to me. And I think it’s a perfect Valentine’s Day photo.

So, everyone, make a moment special today, say hello to that special someone or friend. Hope everybody’s doing as well as can be expected, and I look forward to speaking to you again next month.
